Subscription tiers, annual vs. monthly, and county add-ons.

Pillar is sold as a subscription with optional county zoning add-ons. This page explains how the pieces fit together.

Subscription tiers#

Three tiers, all organization-scoped:

Subscriptions are per-organization, not per-seat — add teammates at no extra cost (up to fair-use limits).

Monthly vs. annual#

  • Monthly — flexible, cancel anytime.
  • Annual — commit for a year, get ~20% off, and unlock bundled AGS demographics (automatic geographic segmentation on every parcel).

Annual plans are what most acquisition teams land on after the first month.

County zoning add-ons#

Zoning data is separate from the base subscription because it's county-specific and expensive to maintain. Each enabled county is an annual add-on to your subscription.

  • Buy from Account → County zoning.
  • Prorated to your subscription's renewal date.
  • Enabled for every member of your org.

Invoices and payment#

  • Invoices are sent to the billing email on file.
  • We accept credit card and ACH (for annual plans).
  • Failed payments retry three times over 14 days before the subscription goes into grace mode.

Grace mode#

If billing fails, your org enters grace mode:

  • You keep read access to existing data for 14 days.
  • No new skip traces, no agent sessions, no outreach sends.
  • Banner at the top of the app until payment resumes.

Fix the billing issue and everything comes back online instantly.

Changing or canceling#

  • Upgrading — instant. You're prorated for the difference.
  • Downgrading — applies at the end of your current billing period.
  • Canceling — access remains until the end of the billing period. After that, your data is preserved for 90 days in case you come back, then archived.

Only admins can change the subscription, buy credits, add counties, or update payment methods. See Team & roles.
